Community Guidelines

CrowOn is a place to share where you went, what you found and how you feel, safely with friends. Please follow these guidelines so everyone can enjoy it. We remove content that breaks them and suspend accounts for repeated or serious violations. When in doubt, ask yourself how you would feel if it happened to you or someone you love.
Post what is yours, or what you may use
Only post what you made or have the right to share.
When using others' photos, videos, music or art, follow the license and credit the creator.
Use Remix and templates only on posts whose creators allow it, and don't remove the credit.
Content reported as infringing will be reviewed and removed.
Respect others
No harassment, bullying, persistent unwanted contact, threats, doxxing or spreading insults.
No attacks or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, illness, age or appearance.
Disagreeing is fine. Talk about ideas, not people.
Do not contact someone who blocked you from another account.
Stay safe
No glorifying or calling for violence, terrorism or dangerous organizations.
No encouraging self-harm or suicide. We may show support resources on posts from people who are struggling. You are not alone — talk to someone you trust or a helpline.
No dangerous challenges, illegal drugs, weapons or dangerous goods.
Content sexualizing minors is absolutely prohibited in any form and will be reported to authorities.
No nudity or sexual activity. We consider context such as breastfeeding, medical, artistic and news content.
Respect places and privacy
Don't post someone's home, school, workplace or current location without their consent.
Get permission from people in your photos when possible, and remove them if asked.
Check photos of children for uniforms, name tags, school routes or anything revealing who or where they are.
Choose carefully who you share your location with and for how long. Never share it with strangers.
Don't put personal information or hurtful content in Letters.
Be authentic
No impersonating people, companies or organizations, or deceiving with fake accounts.
Clearly mark ads, sponsorships and gifted products.
Label AI-generated or heavily edited photos and videos that could be mistaken for real.
Don't spread harmful misinformation about health, disasters or elections. Community Notes may add context.
No spam
No mass-posting the same content, artificial follows or likes, irrelevant promotion or scam links.
No buying or selling accounts, followers or likes.
Be honest about places
Base reviews and photos of places on real experiences.
Disclose reviews given in exchange for something. No posts meant to damage competitors.
Don't encourage entering restricted areas or private property.
In communities
These guidelines apply in communities, along with each community's own rules.
Don't share community posts with non-members without permission.
Admins must not use their role to attack or exclude members.
Protecting people under 18
Adults must not persistently send private messages to minors they don't know.
Asking minors to meet up or send photos is prohibited. We suspend such accounts immediately and report to authorities when needed.
Reporting and enforcement
Use "Report" from the "…" menu. The person you report won't know it was you.
We review reports and may remove content, limit visibility or features, or suspend accounts. Serious violations lead to immediate suspension.
If you disagree with a decision, appeal through Feedback.
If someone is in immediate danger, call the police (110) or an ambulance (119) right away.
